Dont you want to include the EB3 unused visa from worldwide? just the way EB2 got this time!
This is highlited in Aug VB thread too
following is pasted from VB link (http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5092.html)
EB3 ROW is at Jun 2004. If there is to be any chance of spillover from EB3 ROW, EB3 ROW would be close to current, at least much farther than 2004.

I am in the same situation. My attorney advised me to have one with my name if possible. I scanned mine and my wife's Birth certificate and sent it to my Dad in India. He said that he will get the original in 2 days. Looks like it is a straight forward process. You could just send it with a copy of ur passport.
P.S: They would need the copies to be notarized before taking it to corporation or municipality
you didnt understand my question. I do not have a birth certificate at all. in this case, what document should I use? thats the question.

two reasons
one, to vote, exercise a democratic principle, you can't complain about the government unless you actively participated.
two, I have 3 kids, and it's likely they'll stay here, my 12 year olds were 3 when we first arrived. My lawyer highly recommended we consider citizenship after another client had challenges. Despite good parenting this guy's kids got into trouble with the law, to the extent that they had their green cards revoked and they were in deportation process. However had they been US citizens whilst there were consequences they wouldn't have their citizenship revoked.
Not great reasons for some...
Q 1: What if one's native country is also a democracy?
Q 2: If one is already a citizen of democratic country other than US and same scenario will happen then one's kids will not have revoked citizenship (That other country's) as well if one decides to maintain his/her original citizenship ...

However, Reid accused the GOP of standing in the way of immigration reform, noting that on Monday, Republicans blocked "the Senate's own bipartisan comprehensive reform plan from moving forward in Congress."
"After years of Bush Republican incompetence, our borders are unsecured, and our immigration system is broken. The Senate took a major step toward fixing our immigration system. Now, the president must convince his party to enact the comprehensive immigration reform our nation deserves," Reid said in a statement.

I am going to get a plate up for donations within my family.
Guys, I had already started raising some funds for IV using craigslist to sell the EXCESS I have accumulated over the years. It won't be THAT much, but I am going to make it count towards my TeamIV efforts.

I understand your frustration since I am in the same boat but I feel it is wrong to say that the IV efforts are hurting EB3 folks. Not sure if there is basis to support that. Several IV proposals helped all EB categories and failed mainly due to anti-immigrant lobby.
EB3 situation is completely hopeless and only piecemeal reform can help EB3. I am sorry but I do not understand this discussion since this bill (if it ever comes to debate) impacts across all EB (advanced degrees).
Hear that you EB2 bigoted persons. Here is An EB3 person who is supporting IV inspite of what ever is happening. Will this open your eyes to the fact that EB3 folks are not against EB2 folks, but all that they want is that they should get some measure ofjustice.
Mr gc_dream2009. I feel a respect for you which i do NOT feel for EB2 folks who have tried to denigrate whatever i talked about (Must be their superiority complex)
I would now like to comment on some facts which are result of my observation over a period of 3 years starting from 2007 till current date
The only proposal which helped EB3 is July 2007 fiasco with EAD and AP benefit and before we give thanks to IV please remember that back peddeling by USCIS was not just because of just IV but also because of strong pressure from AILA. If EB3 benefited from July 2007 fiasco it is only because EB3 was part of all the EB categories and not because IV was aware of EB3 plight.
Now after July 2007 nothing has been ever done to relieve pressure on EB3. All the benefit have been provided to EB2 and all EB3 is told is after EB2 gets current EB3 wil get benefit but nobady talks about EB2 never getting current and the fact is EB2 will never get current and till that time EB2 will get all spill over visa and EB3 will get 0 (Zero) spil over visas

e-filed (NSC) on 04/19 and received the notice on 04/23. No update after that.
Called the customer care today. The representative opened a SR as I haven't received biometric appointment notice. Not sure how that's going to help as many folks have got their EAD without fingerprinting.
EAD expires on 92nd day. So keeping the fingers crossed :(
I woudn't worry much, it's not been even 2 months. My wife's EAD filed in mid-march was approved in 60 days. next week we both recvd notices for FP. i sent my EAD and our AP's 2 days before our FP appointment date. i think you will recv yours by month-end. Good luck.
My EAD:
Paper filed at Dallas Lockbox
sent on: 6/2/10 (via USPS express mail)
recvd by USCIS: 6/3/10
check cleared : 6/9/10
no receipt notice yet.
current EAD expires 9/25/10

Use the following as a template to send all your contacts via email!!!!
*not a chain mail. a genuine request to be part of a democratic US bill-making movement* call YOUR Senator and at least one from the list below *
i am writing to you with a rather 'unusual request'. thousands of high skilled legal immigrants (especially from India and China) are stuck for between 5 to 10 years in the 'Green Card' queue with no 'end in sight' due to a broken system. previous attempts by groups like Compete America (www.competeamerica.org (http://www.competeamerica.org)) and Immigration Voice (www.immigrationvoice.org (http://www.immigrationvoice.org)) have been rebuffed by powerful lobbies and special interests.
if you are able to help, know that thousands will thank you. if you are uncomfortable, i will fully understand and seek your forgiveness for this intrusion.
if you know someone that will benefit from legal immigration reform (e.g. graduate students, etc.), do pass this message along. again, this is NOT a fake chain mail. check out www.immigrationvoice.org (http://www.immigrationvoice.org) to see how those forgotten in the immigration queue are trying their best to make their voices heard.

if you can do more, please call your Senator and at least one from the list below with the scripted message:
currently, Rep. Zoe Lofgren from California, has introduced a couple of bills that can provide temporary relief to thousands of tax paying high skilled workers.
HR 5921 Introduced to eliminate per country limits
H.R. 5882 introduced to restore approximately 218,000 unused EB visa numbers.
HR 6039 introduced to exempt STEM degree applicants from numerical limits
In addition, the Murray amendment was accepted in Senate Appropriations Committee by voice vote today.
"OK, enough of that mumbo jumbo" I hear you say :), "what can I do?"
Tell them that you would like to talk to some one who handles immigration/legal matters, If forwarded to voice mail, leave a VM. If the VM is full, you can get back to the main line by pressing 0 and then leave a message with them.
The message you have to deliver when calling these offices is
I would like Representative "Representative Name" to co sponsor bills HR 5882, HR 5921 & HR 6039 sponsored by Zoe Lofgren. All three bills have wide bipartisan support in the house and will help reduce the back logs associated with USCIS. These bills are a great first step towards immigration reform.
DO NOT GET INTO THE LEGAL/ILLEGAL DISCUSSION WITH STAFF MEMBERS
Only if the staff member bring up the issue of CIR, in that case say that -
In the past we have been supporting Comprehensive approach and still continue to support comprehensive approach and we look for our our main issues to be addressed whenever comprehensive bill is passed. However, this is is just an interim fix to begin or start the immigration reform process.

If you trust IV Core and its advisory board and believe that they know how politics works better than you and me you are entitled to your opinion and you may be right too. Certainly IV Core knows how political work, there is no denying that but my point of contention is that does what ICV Core believe and are working towards match with what is good for EB3?
And there as the bard would say lies the rub
Now again in response to that you and most of the people would agree that IV Core goals is good for EB3. Now out of all the people who agree how many are EB3 and how many are EB2. Again IV Core would say many EB3 agree with what they do because IV is not about helping anyone, IV is about helping yourselves (EB3 or EB2), and when it comes to the fact of helping ourselves i for one feel that IV core would do better to listen to the EB3 voice out there. Why do i feel EB3 specific voice is not being heard? Well the answer to that is very simple. It is because EB3 as a whole has NOT seen any benefit out of the rule changes which happened till now and any new initiative which gets the support of IV.
As to your statement about below
The idea you preferred has no chance, given the harsh economic situation and anti-immigration sentiment at this time
My commnts to that is that YES it is a harsh economic situation and YES anti immigrants sentiments is on the rise but if i am an an anti immigrant i would oppose immigrants as a whole. I would not oppose EB2 immigrants less because they have MS degrees and i would not oppose EB3 less because they are stuck in the immigration process and harsh economics time is harsh for everyone (EB2 and EB3) and also citizens so the same logic of anti immigranst sentiments would apply
Reagrding your another statement
In this case, EB3 will have to wait forever. Now, which one do you like? I think people should be realistic.
What i like is not what is important. What is important is what is done is the right thing., If it is the question of EB3 waiting fore ever (say 10 years) or EB3 waiting more than forever (say 20 years) i would plum for which ever option gives relief to people (even if it extends my GC wait time) who are of older priority date and who should get relief, not because they have waited for so long but because they waited for so long in the line and followed all the rules and it is just mind blowing that people who have applied for GC in 2008 and 2010 and expecting that they deserve to get GC because they are EB2 and no other reason.
Now to that all EB2 guys will reply back saying Are you nuts, that how the world works, if you want a GC sooner get a US degree or apply in EB2 no one is stopping you and all that kinds of statements. It gets ugly too but what everyone forgets is that it is easier to be sanctimonious and give advise when you are not being effected. When you are at the other end (Remember the bottom of the totem pole) that is when you all these things come back to bite you and you cannot justify what you said earlier.
Think about it illegals want GC for everyone illegal. Legals (including IV Core among others) say we are fighting for all EB and are united but when an EB2 with 2007 priority date gets GC but an EB3 32002 is still waiting all that argument falls by the wayside and there is no unity
Ok if IV Core (And when i say IV Core i mean everyone EB2 and EB3 peiople because IV Core is nothing but the EB applicants themselves) cannot or will not try to work towards fixing the dispension of spillover visas to EB2 and EB3 equally because that is the law and the law cannot change why cannot IV Core try to implement (the keyword here is TRY whether the law pases or not is not the point) the 55 K DV to all retrogressed applicants instead of just US MS applicants. They can try to do that but they are not. So in what way is IV a representative of EB3 apprehensions and issues

Conservatives block immigration conference (June 8, 2006)-
By Jonathan Allen
Senate conservatives have emerged as the chief obstacle to an immigration conference committee, but the bills backers insist they will be able to get around the hard-liners.
GOP leaders need the assent of the conservatives to circumvent a parliamentary hurdle arising from the bills inclusion of tax provisions, which, according to the Constitution, must originate in the House. Conservatives have yet to sign off.
Im not anxious to move it to conference, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), chairman of the conservative Republican Steering Committee, said yesterday. The more we study the final product, the more convinced I am that it is seriously flawed.
Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) said that he would think about being helpful to the leadership but that hed consider trying to block it, too.
The Senate passed its version of immigration legislation last month. The bill would bolster border security, create a path to citizenship for illegal aliens currently in the country and establish a guest-worker program.
Many on the right would prefer a version more like the House bill, which focuses solely on strengthening border security.
A thicket of procedural snags has prevented the appointment of conference negotiators to this point.
If the Senate bill is sent to the House, it would be subject to a blue slip a vote of the House to reject it because it violates the Constitutions origination clause on tax matters. The easiest way around a blue slip is for the Senate to take up a House-passed tax bill, strip out the existing provisions, insert the immigration bill into its shell and pass it.
But Republican leaders have been unable to win unanimous consent to execute the maneuver, and such a complex series of moves would give opponents several filibuster opportunities. While cautiously covering their flanks, Republican and Democratic leaders are working to get the bill to conference.
The bills supporters say that if they can make significant progress on a deal they will be able to overcome their opposition.
I think were making progress, Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) said yesterday. Were not there yet.
Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.), a harsh critic of the Senate bill, said yesterday that he will not block efforts to move to conference.
I want a bill, Ensign said.
Youve got to have a conference, said Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.). If it comes out close to this [Senate bill], well do everything to kill it.
