I completely agree, only another massive awakening can do something for us. Obama seems to be willing to go ahead with atleast initiating CIR this year. He says for people who have been here for years there should be some way to come out of the shadows.
My dear friends, it is time to forget our narrow mindendness and stand united and fight. There has to be someway of reducing the processing time to <5 years. If you are planning hunger strike or whatever please inform us and we will be there. If you want to send flowers to Nepolitano, obama or whoever let us know and we will be there. There definitely is a need to do something right now.
First of all:- We all need to somehow get over the major stumbling block and that is to isolate his/her own problem from others. Right now we have many different set of problems and only people with the same problem act together.
For eg:-
there are people like me who have LC picked up for audit (so why do I care about 485 backlog??)
There are others who have applied 485 and their PD are older (their problem seems lighter so why should they really worry)
There are others who have kids who are aged out/about to age out (why would I care about them??)
What we have to realize is that, just as when you drop a stone into a pond the ripples travel wit equal force in all the direction, when we identify with problem of others (even though we might not benefit from it at all) we are at least becoming a community that has strength.
IV leaders make a plan and count all of us ( I mean all of us will join and will get atleast 2 others to join).
Let us show that we are also a community which can love each other and fight for each other rather than a group of selfish people rowing the boat in different directions.

Where would I be able to find a USCIS approved physcian??..I think you need to get some kind of letter from him??..

We have 2 threads talking about the same topic.. contribution .. While it's good to see both threads getting lot of hits, I suggest that we merge both of these threads so that we all get on the same page. If you think any fraud is going on or there is a law being misused you must complain to USCIS and Ombudsman. Unless it is reported nobody in a position of power will know about it and nothing will be done to stop it.
And this should be done sooner than later. If we keep quiet about this like everyone did for labor substitution, we are the only ones who are going to suffer. I came here in 1998 and did my MS and have been working like dog all these years. Have faced layoffs, exploiting by DCC, had to refile my GC and now these fake EB1 guys come along and get GC in 6 months.
Trust me, I will be reporting the company that I have heard of the case to ombudsman and USCIS. And I think everyone who has heard of this should verify and then report it also.
Lets start this campaign also because in the long run, it will benefit both EB2 and EB3.
And genuine EB1 guys dont have to worry about this because if they really do have extra-ordinary capabilities they should not have hard time proving it (so called Multinational executives)

They filed it on EB3 eventhough I was eligible for EB2 for "easier processing". At that time both EB2 and EB3 were current. And it remained the same way till I got my labor approved the very same month it went into retrogression. Since then I am waiting.
By the way, my first company sold the labor they filed for me for $15K dollars to another guy. He got his GC in 2005 and just 2 months back he became an US Citizen.
That is a long story told short....

I would again emphasize on my previous post. One step at a time, one swift ruling for all waiting for long time in queue.
Remember, this is not 0-sum game or targeting a small group. In a queue you are closer to the target as people in front of you move.

We had our fp done on June 11th and there was a soft LUD on 07/22.
efiled on 05/21
EAD expires on 09/11
Hope we get our EAD approval soon.
I think they had a system glitch for some time. All the people who got an LUD on 7/22 essentially means that TSC had received the FP on that date.
I have an infopass on 14th I will see what information they will provide.

Thank you everyone, who has been trying so hard to keep this thread alive, active and on track.
I know we are nearing our self set deadline of Dec 31st to double our membership through the Add ONE Member campaign. The goal (15000 members) is no where in sight. But I am not worried. In fact, I am very much enthusiastic, because we were able to add a considerable number of members in the last week.
But we can do a lot better!!!
A IV update on another members only thread about opportunities in Jan and Feb, made me take time out from my very important work project and send this message out. We need to increase our membership NOW!
And the Add ONE Member campaign is the perfect vehicle.
Let each of us add one member. Also I suggest that one of us take the responsibility to PM online members and remind them to add ONE member (some of us just need a reminder).
Also, Pappu or Logiclife said that they would attach the Add ONE member campaign details in the IV newsletter. I think we should send the newsletter immediately to all current IV members.
Together we can achieve this very attainable goal of 15000 members by Dec 31st.

Looks like TSC is approving many cases. NSC is not... come on Nebraska..!
In 2007 when I and my friend filed 485s with the same PD, his went to TSC and mine to NSC. He got his GC in 2007 and I am still waiting...
